Mathew 25:35-36 KJV
Jesus taught us to help those in need. Often I think we all feel like we need more help than we are getting and it’s difficult to muster the energy to help others when we ourselves are struggling; But that’s what the Church is for, a family of believers, not only believing in God and Christ but believing that their promises are true. When we help others, we ourselves receive a blessing. When we extend our hand to lift up a friend, we gain that friend and their renewed strength strengthens us.
We have been approved by Acton Academy to open a school in Tijuana. We believe this will be a challenging but very rewarding adventure and we invite you to follow along with us as we meet these challenges. In our estimation Acton Academy is leading the way for positive change in education. When we found out about them we became determined that our son Josh would have the opportunity that Acton Academy offers through their innovative and truly ingenious approach to education.
Our children are among our greatest gifts from God, but modern practices have changed our perceptions about our youth, especially about infants, toddlers and unborn babies. The common practice of abortion tells us that unborn children are worthless, burdensome, and expendable. Parents need to be encouraged and reminded of the precious gifts that their young children are.
Jason and Christi have begun writing a children’s book to help Josh understand why Papa goes to work, what he does when he’s gone and that he loves his family and works in order to support them. The book may be a good way for many young children to learn why their parents work and that they are loved even when their parents are gone to work.
